I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
