Devoted fans of the actress are calling for that a individual who jumped a barricade and seized the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the Australian man pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the cast walked down a yellow carpet surrounded by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was scheduled to attend court on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile features recordings of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the area last December.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Several fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote a further comment on Instagram.

Some supporters also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some demanded social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared surprised when she was grabbed by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of supporters had gathered in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore mall, including some who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it started.

The movie, to be released on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-part interpretation of the well-known Broadway and West End production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely bond between two distinct sorceresses.

The musical itself is a derivative of the classic children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a light pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and received 10 Academy Award nods, winning a pair for outstanding attire and production design.
